In discovering the lung capacity the method used was a spirometry data set. This helps the discovery of the the tidal volume (TV), the inspiratory reserve volume (IRV), the expiratory reserve volume (ERV), and the vital capacity. Vital capacity is dependent on age and gender (Harris-Haller, 237). The lungs are fully developed by the age of twenty (“Lung Capacity and Aging”, 2018). By setting up the spirometer and collecting the tidal volume, the inspiratory reserve volume, and the expiratory volume, the vital capacity of the human lungs can be calculated by adding the three volumes together. The electrical activity of the heart is understood with the method of a electrocardiogram (ECG). The ECG will observe the electrical activity of the heart. “The heart contracts and relaxes in a rhythmic cycle” (Urry et al., 921). The phase when the heart contracts is known as the systole; the phase when the heart relaxes is the known as the diastole (Urry et al., 921). In the publication, children with a certain heart disorders underwent cardiographic studies to better understand the activity of their heart (Tuan, 2016). By placing ECG clamps on the wrists, finger, and ankle, the data will be recorded. The data recorded for this part of the experiment is the blood volume to the finger, the blood flow to the finger , and the ECG. The last part of the experiment consisted of the study of
