Brunt Hotels is a chain of hotels that owns more than 60 throughout the United Kingdom. Brunt Hotels bought a small chain of hotels in France, and the Chief Executive decided to sell half the hotels and rebrand the other half as part of the Brunt Hotel Group. They want to keep a slowly growth to make sure their new venture prosper, are well supported, opened on time and on a budget. Brunt’s hotels are considered budget accommodations; they are functional, clean and reasonably priced.
The average stay of guest is from one to three nights, whether it is for business or pleasure. Their hotels are usually situated in downtown locations, close to tourist attractions and easy access to transportation.

Why?
I think they should hire mostly expatriate. Even though that option is the most expensive, is the best investment on the long run as they know they will get a trusted employee who already knows how business is handle, the management style expected and can train other on how to follow them. Local workers might be cheaper in the short term, but that could lead to a greater long-term cost plus higher risk which undermine the initial savings. Another reason is that an expatriate will be motivated, more so than a local would be. The change can be so big that the expatriate will put all his effort into his job as he sees it as a promotion, another step in his professional journey and a new start for a better live.
