Some high procrastinators may still benefit from traditional interventions for procrastination such as time management and study skills counseling, self-discipline and self-criticism, compliance-based and defiance-based paradoxical strategies, and the use of external contingencies, others may benefit more from interventions which focus on anxiety management and reduction (Anthony J. Onwuegbuzie 15).
As procrastination is paid more and more attention, the studies of its reasons will be more and more. People now do not consider it as a simple problem which only correlated only with one’s ability. It is more likely to be a comprehensive reflection of many complicated psychological effects and personal experience.
