Ever have one of those days where you try to be productive but can’t get anything done? Do you ever have a task you want to complete but can’t stop procrastinating?

Thousands of people struggle with procrastination daily. It is usually caused by the desire for pleasure over hard work. Who would choose writing a difficult article over doing nothing if both paid the same amount? I would assume the average choice would be to do nothing.

However, not wanting to work isn’t the only cause. Other causes include the lack of being organized, bad habits, and not planning your day accordingly.

Ever feel lost and don’t quite know what to do next? Jotting down random ideas can be a great productivity booster. What I would do is set down a timer, around 1-5 minutes, and write down as many ideas as I can. There are no limits to what you write. This can be a great way at getting your creative juices flowing.

10. Make sure you get enough sleep and workout

Make sure you’re getting adequate sleep each night. The lack of sleep can make performing tasks even more difficult than they would be on a normal sleep schedule. You should also make sure you’re working out for at least 30 minutes daily. This will help keep the blood flowing and prevent you from getting fatigued from staring at the computer screen all day.

11.Take action

Take action now! Don’t wait for another day or another hour. This will only result in you pushing it back even more when the time comes. Use a few of these tips daily and start getting into the habit of being productive. Like mentioned earlier, productivity is a skill. Work on improving skill, and success will come your way.

I hope you enjoyed these tips. Have any you would like to add or have any questions? Feel free to leave a comment

“There is absolutely nothing to write about, school is either too easy to have problems or useless to try to solve them,” I thought as I read my writing prompt. The sheet of paper stated that too write about a time that I worked to solve a problem at school.
