I am not going to tell you what to do I am going to tell you that you need to do what you see as the right decision.

La Rochefoucauld: What ever decision you make you need to get rid of the self love you have. In order for you to make the right decision you cannot think about yourself. It has become a restraint, you are in fear of punishment or death based on what decision you end up making.
Me: Now I understand. If I remove the worry about losing my life my decision will then be based on what I see morally correct. I will then be thinking of the villagers and not myself.
