“They examined post-mortem blood levels of anaesthetic and believe that prisoners may have been capable of feeling pain in almost 90% of cases and may have actually been conscious when they were put to death in over 40% of cases” (Motluck, 2005) . Is there truly any humane way to put someone to death? Every way it has been done in the past has been deemed not humane and wrong by moral standard. Another argument about the Death Penalty is do these people even deserve a humane and painless death after all the pain and destruction they caused in other’s lives? Either way they are people and even after the pain they caused they do not deserve to be treated as any less than any other human. Many people believe that sitting in jail for the rest of these people’s lives is the best punishment, they have to sit for years, and sometimes decades thinking about all the destruction and pain they caused for others.
In conclusion The Death Penalty is hard topic and people will always disagree on it. People will always have different opinions on the topic and there never will be a right or wrong opinion. It is all based on your personal beliefs of the topic. There have been many unjust deaths due to The Death Penalty. Hopefully one day there will be enough evidence to decide if it is right or wrong method of punishment for certain
