It was so enormous, noisy, fast and very much intimidating. For a moment I comprehend why people would be enjoying this--to eagerly trade in the stillness of the ground for a chance to be tossed around in the air like water coming out of a sprinkler. The mere imagination of the force of twisting tracks, loops and turns send chills through my body. My action became hesitant, and my speed of staggering up the station gradually declined. I nervously accepted my dad’s supporting hand, and the two of us slowly made our way to the waiting pavement. There were about one hundred people on the waiting pavement, some of them are as nervous and regretful as I was, some are poking their heads beyond the crowd to anticipate their position in the line, and the others are occupied with their phones. Ever since that first glance, my imagination has always metaphorize roller coasters as beasts, carrying off their screaming passengers. Even the thundering sounds of the tracks brings to mind a mighty roar of a
