The Times article discusses some positive and negative opinions that certain pastors may have about giving a prosperity sermon and if they believe it is legitimate or not, but I believe that it would have been more powerful if the text actually had only one position in proving if God wants us to be rich or not. Coleman would possibly respond to that by saying that just because the individual has not received their prosperity gift from God just yet, it does not mean that it will never happen and it is not fair to completely disregard this idea when it can happen at any time that we least expect it and also in the most subtle ways that we do not realize.
