Domestic violence is a serious problem, it occurs in many countries, and almost in every society of the world. Not long ago, domestic violence has been recognized as a problem globally. It is a behavior used by one person in a relationship to control the other. It could be between partners married or not married; between heterosexuals, gays, lesbians, or completely straights; it could be between partners that are living together, separated or dating, it could be between anyone. There are three types of abuse, physical, sexual and emotional. It could be just yells to your partner until hitting him or her. The use of the definition differs very significantly from organization to organization, country to country, and neighborhood to neighborhood. The term close partners in some cases refers only to people who lived together, but also at other times close partners refers to people or couples who are dating or who have dated at any time in the past. However, a better definition of this problem is emotional abuse, physical abuse or sexual abuse between couples or a family relationship. Around the world at least one woman in every three has been compressed, forced into sex, or then abused in her lifetime. The abuser is a member of her own family. In the United States, physical violence between close partners occurs in 4 to 6 million each year. It is valued that a domestic partner beats 2 million to 4 million US women every year, 25% of the female population will be injured in their lifetime. Up to 35% of women and 22% of men giving to the emergency department have experienced domestic violence. The exact incidence of domestic violence in America is very hard to control it for some reasons: it repeatedly goes unreported; there is no nation extensive organization that collects information from local police departments about the number of validated reports and calls; and there is disagreement about what should be involved in the definition of domestic
