I have been an adroit student of Ms. LaDuca’s for the last year and a half; she knows exactly what kind of student I am. Since seventh grade, I have been an ebullient honors student in the top ten percent of the 2016 cohort and have not received any grades lower than an A. I always exceed expectations, put in 110% of my effort, and achieve and maintain excellent grades at the same time. All of the 12 dual enrollment credits I will have earned by the end of ENG 102 will be very beneficial to me once I enter the University of Arizona as a callow first generation college student. …show more content…
LaDuca’s ENG 102 class. First, I have achieved nothing but success in the English classes that precede ENG 102. I adapted very well to the fast-paced environment in ENH 111, ENH 110, and ENG 101. I earned a ninety-seven percent in both semesters last year, and I am fervent to complete this semester with a ninety-eight percent in ENG 101. Ninety-five percent of students are besieged by stress that thwarts them in a college-level course by the first week of school; not me. I am more organized than most students are and for that reason I have produced stellar papers that effectively demonstrate all of the skills I have developed over the last year and a half. People like me are very rare and should be seen as that. We do not come along very often and not everyone gets the opportunity to have a brilliant student participate in their course. I am equipped with ample knowledge and experience from previous English classes and deserve to expand my foundation of knowledge in which I will have built with my spot in ENG
