She looked like she didn’t know what to say or think. “Please tell me you aren’t mad at me,” my voice cracked when I said this, which made my eyes begin to water also. “I really can’t lose you as a friend. I just, I don’t know what to do.” “I’m not mad, its just Nicole is really clingy. You don’t need friends like that,” now you could start to see that she was getting upset. “I know, but she has been my best friend since first grade. I don’t want to lose her either. I guess I can talk to her.” As I said this Nicole walked in, and didn’t look to happy when she saw me talking to Abbey. “What happened to not talking to her?! I guess she is your new best friend,” Nicole was bright red as she said this. “I’m just gonna go, have fun with your new best friend.” With that she turned around and stormed out before I could say anything back. “I’m really sorry about that,” I said turning to Abbey. “I’ll see you tomorrow at school. “It’s whatever. I just thought I’d talk to you about what 's been going on,” she paused for a second before adding “can we talk over coffee tonight? Abbey, I would like you to join also.”
“Yeah sure thing, see you then.” After she walked away me and Abbey went back to talking. I just couldn’t think of why she would invite Abbey also.
