They have a Diversity Goals Program, and 60,000 managers paid to increase the standards of diversity and inclusion in Wal-Mart. They get bonuses on how well they do! “The heart of the McDonald’s organization is in providing doorways of opportunities and growth for team members from diverse backgrounds and communities locally – and internationally.” This is the statement from McDonalds. They believe that giving each person equal opportunity is important. They achieve that goal by hiring young individuals who are trying to get through high school and start to save for college. Women, and those young individuals make up 70% of McDonald’s employees. They strive internally to teaching and training the employees of diversity. General motors have groups for the woman employees, Asian Indian group, and Chinese employee resource group, and those with disabilities.
