HISTORY
The Office of The Quartermaster General organized a Food Service Program which went into effect on 31 July 1943. The Quartermaster General, delegated commissioned technicians and non-commissioned-officers to set the standard in the food program. Resulting in tremendous improvements of Soldiers being nutritionally fed better, reduced waste by fifty percent and saved millions of dollars by having constant training, experience, and supervision introduced into the Army food program.

This leadership position allows the opportunity to lead employees in nearly any type of job. The food service side of this, there are different types of food operations such as; Meatpacking companies, Food Factories, High Scale restaurants, owning your restaurant, Catering companies, and Hotels. All humans desire food, and as a 922A you gain all the skills, education and talent to help customers eat accordingly and nutritionally.
