Not only would you feel good about yourself for donating a small amount of money but also you would be making a difference in someone’s life. People might try to say if it’s my money then why should I be morally obligated to donate a portion of it to charity? Some people don’t understand why it should be a moral obligation. Although a person has earned that money and they can do with it as they please. This is a misunderstanding of what donating money to charity is all about. Donating money is a reflection of ones values it shows that you like to help people, and it gives you self worth. Just because you earned the money and it belongs to you doesn’t mean you can’t show compassion and value with your money instead of wasting it on luxury items that you don’t need but want.
