In the second paragraph Dvorak writes about how hard drive is leading to laziness, inactiveness, and disorganized. TiVo mindset is encouraging the viewers to not pay close attention and be less alerted along with laziness. With TiVo Mindset, people can stop the TV and replay it anytime they would like. Additionally, Dvorak says “If something happens you can simply go back to watch it in detail, and then fall back into the zombie-like state…” (87) to add his opinion about TiVo Mindset. TiVo Mindset is making viewers less alert and irresponsible because people don’t pay close attention to TV as it can be paused and replayed anytime.
