In total the individual consumes 3 meals a day and 3 snacks. According to the Canadian food guide the original diet plan consist of 9 servings of fruits and vegetables. 3 servings of grains, 1 serving of dairy products, 2 servings of meat and alternatives and two servings of others. The individual had for dinner was one serving of brown rice, eggplant curry, cod fish, and deep fried potatoes, I replaced the rice with whole grain couscous which contain dietary fibre and a good source of protein, baked salmon which is a good source of omega 3, protein, vitamins and minerals. Lastly, instead of regular deep fried potatoes which contain bad oils and fat, I added baked sweet potato, which are high in vitamin intake and promote good
