Voluntary Stakeholders vs Involuntary Stakeholders
3.1 Stakeholder Stakeholders are individual or a group of people who are interested in company. And also who are able to affect or who would be affected by the company’s actions. In HN, the stakeholders are relevant local government authorities, business that have been supporting it, its employee (Forward Together or FT) and many more. At all times company management will not have the same stakeholder priorities therefore it can lead to disagreement. According to Clarkson’s risk based model of shareholders, there are 2 types of stakeholders. They are voluntary stakeholders and involuntary stakeholders.
3.2 Voluntary stakeholders Voluntary stakeholders are those involved in the business by their choice. They are abiding some form of risk because they have invested some form of financial capital (e.g. shareholders) or human resources (e.g. employees) to the company.

Role of employee representatives Trade unions are the representation of an employee in a work facility. The roles of employee representatives are when there is an external threat being faced by the management; trade union would be there to support the management. At the same time if the management abuse the powers, trade union would be first to react to it. Trade union helps to control and maintain employees and make sure that the employees are satisfied and able to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore trade union is very important. Each time when and objection is raised against HPC by Beeland, Ceeland and NNN trade union have been very defensive and support the HN.They mentioned that “Ceeland’s had no reason to fear HN and that its fear were ‘entirely groundless’ and also “robustly defend the HN site in the media and argues for further investment” . FT feels angry when foreign workers were being hired. The union convener mentioned that “nuclear industry where safety was so important, domestic workers were ‘more reliable’ than foreign workers”.
