Geoffrey Chaucer is one of the most important and legendary writers in history and his work some of the most astonishing. One of his most famous writings is “The Canterbury Tales” which he unfortunately wasn’t able to finish before he passed. In these tales there are a series of characters who tell personal stories. However, before each character's story, they have a prologue or introduction that describes who they are. The tales told by each character will relate back to their prologue to either explain, prove, or strengthen it.
