During 1960, many people suffered from discrimination because of racial profiling. Africans Americans were the weakest group of people who receive the majority form of discrimination based on skin color. Racism continues to exist in the United States. In other words, women do not have the equal opportunities to work in high job positions. As an effect, women cannot become a sergeant in the military because they are seen less strong than men. Similarly, I have suffered from racial discrimination in my job because of my gender and I do not have the same opportunities than men. I have learned to drive a forklift and I have the ability to do so, however, my supervisor does not let me drive because I am a woman. But not everything is negative many women have a stable position very similar to positions that men have. Some women perform service as police officers for the Police Department.
