Ostrander describes The worldview as the way we see the big picture of the world. He compares this to a jigsaw puzzle. The picture on the box is our worldview. Your world view is just how you naturally feel about things. It could be feelings towards others, and the way we view others. Worldview has a strong impact on the way we form our opinions. In this book he says “we need to recognize at the outset that a worldview is rooted in who we are at our deepest level.” (Ostrander 19) In order to change our beliefs, we need to change how we see the world. Our world view needs to be understanding of everyone and their situation. Judging is something that mostly everyone does. As Christian we need to refrain from judging from our point of view. Everyone has different circumstances. The only person we should judge is ourselves. We should examine our own problems before we talk and think about some else’s. In the gospel of Luke this is stated. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” In gods eyes we are all equal, and we need to see our peers the same way. This is difficult to do, but through changing our world view we are able to. We need to recognize the big picture and understand God is the only person who can judge us. In order to live more faithful, we need to love and care for others instead of judge
