Ideological Narrative Creation

The first article of this series discussed narrative creation and how political candidates purposely keep their campaign slogans open ended. Particularly, so narrative creation could take place. That allows their audiences to create narratives based more on ideologies rather than actual political ideas and or discussion or ideas that a candidate expresses. Wherein the last article of this series focused on breaking down “Make America Great Again,” and focused on discussing how ideological narrative creation is problematic because it often creates an uncritical audiences, which Richard Paul and Linda Elder defined as, “people who are overly impressed by power, authority, and celebrity they will also allow someone to control or lead them as long as they make their perceived values seem correct.” …show more content…

While that is true of this article it will also look at how supporters of different candidates view the Clinton campaign, and finally this article will discuss how the Clinton campaign uses persuasive fallacies to direct audiences to promote a certain idea that appeals to the audience’s
