I think this because the state is just as involved in this situation as the country is. After all, the immigrant did enter their state at exactly the same time they enter the country, so why should it only be a state problem or a federal problem. Some people may disagree with what I'm about to say, but that's okay because it's simply my opinion. I feel that sometimes the current federal methods for situations just don't do justice. In these cases I feel that the states should take matters into their own hands and try to come up with their own way to help solve this problem. I don't feel that there is any harm in trying to take matters into your own hands when the measures that are supposed to be being taken are not solving the problem. In fact, I think that the state should be allowed to use its laws against trespassing as a means to arrest illegal immigration, after all, they are definitely trespassing in my book. They are entering property that they know they are not allowed to be on. It's no secret, that's for sure. I feel that as long as they know they are doing wrong, which they all do or they wouldn't try to sneak into the United States in the first place, they should be able to be punished by the state, even if they use something as simple as trespassing. Overall, I feel that these illegal immigrants just need to be punished in some form or more and more of them will continue to try to do it. I think that it is very unfair that some individuals have to go through the long
