Although the panel right above it depicts the betrayal of jesus illustrating Judas receiving the silver from the roman officials to identify Jesus through a kiss. Both these panels represent a continuous narrative and reside in high importance to the story as represented by their placement in the bottom center(Khan Academy).
Duccio used three trees in the panels we previously reviewed to show their correlation but also reflected this in the panel directly above which is the main point for all the panels cumulatively. Just above the panels where jesus is betrayed and identified by Judas’ kiss to identify him, we observe the crucifixion.
We also can identify the three high points of the panel but in this case being crosses, but none the less further continuing the story line. Duccio was very intelligent being that in his time stories were told through pictures more than through script therefore the flow and representation he used goes a long way for the beauty and completeness of this work.

The throne that Queen of the heavens is standing on has many different types of geometric shape. A geometric shape is an enclosed shape that has multiple sides. The squares, the diamonds, the triangles, circles, and many more make up a great amount of this paint. The way that the artist painted this, it looks like some area’s textures look rough. For example, the line halfway up moving horizontal consist of broken rough patterns that make the texture feel rough. Around each head there is a tan shaded circle of some type, this brings each and every one’s head to more attention for the viewer to see. The different types of contrast from the color of their head and the tan give the head a glow effect. As if someone were highlighting them to stand
