Two ads from Girls’ Life Magazine, a publication intended for teenage girls were described and evaluated to prove Calfees’ theory. One ad is about Skechers shoes, the other advertisement is about Zuca luggage. The two mentioned ads proved Calfee’s theory wrong. He said in his article that ads informs on behalf of consumers benefits. That is not true in most cases. As mentioned earlier advertisers use information to create a fallacy. They want customers to believe their products are the best option to go with. All the good information given was strategically combined to create an ideal product. This was done only in order for the seller sale its product. Ads will be use to the benefit of the customer only when the information given equally express the advantages and disadvantages of the product it
