According to statistic, 20 percent of children 2-17 years old in the United States have been victims of different types of violence. The more susceptible children ' ages are between birth to 5 years old. They experience more abuse and neglecting. Community and family 's violence have a considerable impact in children 's school readiness, and in the ways that these children interact with others. But studies show that an early education program can minimize the impact to them. Lev Vygotsky is considered the precursor of social constructivism, and the several social conceptions of learning. The core of Lev Vygotsky approach is to consider the individual as the result of historical and social process, where language plays an essential role. For Lev Vygotsky, knowledge is a process of contact between the subject and the medium, but the medium understood as something social and cultural, not only physical. It also rejects approaches that reduce psychology and learning a simple accumulation of reflexes or associations between stimuli and responses. There are not reducible specifically human trait associations, such as consciousness and language, which cannot be oblivious to psychology.
