In this paper, I will make an argument on how true is the statement of “How you talk affect your whole life?” While making the argument, I will provide an example illustrating the connection related to speaking style and social status. Additionally, I will discuss vernacular, dialects, standard languages, and the relationship of gender and language. Overall, I agree with this statement and think ones speaking style has an effect on one's life. A vernacular language is a native language or dialect that is native for some population in some region, and it is different from standard language.
