I would certainly say I do, at the very least, I've given many hours to charity, many dollars to charity, given a room in my house to help a homeless man get back on his feet. It should be noted however that the most conservative generation still has quite a few socialists in it, many of us are still filled with childish optimism and believe that more government is good.
Being a political person at our age, conservatives are vastly outnumbered sure many of our peers share the beliefs of their parents but they don't know why the should believe what they are saying nor do they stand firm in their beliefs. it is in the politically outspoken that we become outnumbered, but even then many people don't know what to implement that works only what feels good. There lies the issue what feels good rarely works. While the great society originally may have done well and achieved its goals it has been many years and needs a major reform. no longer can everyone do exactly what they want, no longer can we all follow our passion into a career, no longer are things jobs, instead of hobbies. that is something I have told my whole life, yes I have told been to not follow my passion to find my dream job. instead to go after a sure paycheck and let that pay for my hobby. so when I see the enormous amount of impracticality in college degrees instead of agreeing and wanting my college to be free as well I see what people want to study and don't truly believe that I should eventually be the one footing the bill for the

Political ideology and social patterns After completing the typology quiz - and granted some of the questions were tough to answer since I felt like my ideologies fit in the middle of those two extremes - I wasn’t surprised to find myself placed along side with 15% of the public as a solid liberal. Which I believe is pretty accurate in terms of self-identification if you ask me. Reason being is that when I investigated further into their social background characteristics I couldn’t help but agree with the majority of the stances they took. For instance, according to people-press.org - the website in which I took said quiz - solid liberals are generally affluent, highly educated (heh..and they called me stupid?), very optimistic about…

Free from all the extra attention and scrutiny from teachers, who did all they could to mold the freshman class into proper "Vincentians", I felt as though I could finally relax and have a regular high school career. It was a slow paced year where pressures such as ACT and SAT preparation, applying for colleges, and deciding your career path seemed so far away. As long as I remember, I have been on a never ending journey of discovering my talents and finding a career that would be most suitable for me to contribute to society. I was convinced that If just lived life the way I was supposed to and fulfilled my responsibilities, that it all would just come to me one day. Because of my assumption of how much time I had to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, I found myself putting these important thoughts on a hiatus.…
