My personal philosophy for my classroom management and expectations in my classroom are set clearly through the use of classdojo and classroom laws.
Classroom laws are the “rules” that are set within the classroom by the students. This is a list that usually on the first day of school is created as a class. Students express their ideas and thoughts on how the classroom should be ran and what is expected from them and me as a teacher. Any activity or work the students do in the classroom needs to be modeled in some way for them. This way the students can follow along and understand fully what is expected of them. After modeled and directions are given, I then have students repeat the directions for me so that there is no confusion over any of the activity.
Supportive Discipline Measures: Supportive discipline measures are measures taken to get student back on task.
