It works like the filing cabinet of windows OS, keeping flies organized all in one place it can also be used to view files stored on any removable media connected to the computer. I use Mac OS X as my operating system, so to view and manage files I use Finder. In windows, to create a new folder from the desktop, right-click on the desktop and a dropdown menu will appear, in the dropdown menu scroll down to the “new folder” command and left click. In order to copy a folder locate the folder via the desktop or windows explorer and right-click on the folder and To rename a folder in Windows, go to the file explorer, find the file you want to rename, right-click and a drop down menu will appear. From that menu, scroll down until you see the rename command, and left click “Rename” a text box will appear that will allow you to rename the file. To move a file there are two options, one is to once again, go to the file explorer and locate the folder that you want to move and click and drag the folder to it’s new location, the move function can also be preformed by using the keyboard command CTRL+X and pasting the folder to it’s new location using the CRTL+V command. To delete a file a user can either click or drag a file to the recycle bin or in windows explorer, locate the folder, right- click to open the dropdown menu and scrolling down to the “delete”
