Occupational Therapy Assistant’s must always conduct his or herself in a professional manner. There are codes, guidelines, and laws one must adhere to in order to maintain employment or association. First, there is the code document that outlines the expectations and manner in which one must present his, or herself. The goals of a Occupational Therapy Assistant is to refresh, rejuvenate and assist the individual in recovering from the injury. Assisting the patient to return to normal health is key. Therefore, OTA’s must stay abreast of the new trainings, procedures and safety measures to work with the patient.
In conclusion the OTA has been in service over a decade providing first rate care and supervision to the public.
