While some researchers have outlined some very powerful merits of online reading, others has criticized the negative impact online reading has on reading patterns and cognition. However, there are very limited studies that have emphasized on the critical matter of the impact of internet on the greater reading behavior patterns. The studies that exists such as those of Coiro and Dobler (2007, p.22), Liu (2005, p.55) and Siegenthaler (2011, p.44), have a limited s cope of study in relation to age group and their technicality. There are very limited studies concerning the challenges of internet and traditional hard copy reading specifically on adults.
