Pathologist due the hard work behind the scenes.as a patholgist i will be studying diseases and how they affect the body, as well as identifying diseases and consulting with the patients doctors and surgeons what the best treatment route will be. Pathologist specialize in creating and adapting medical plans that will ensure the patient heals and the path a patient must go to beat the disease that is crippling them. A Pathologist day starts off with them observing sickness in tissues, writing down any abnormalities. They then have to diagnose the disease that is present then create a course of action to treat the disease. To become a pathologist one must earn a bachelor's degree with a high gpa, have volunteer hours,internships, or work experience in the medical field, as well as pass the MCAT, earn a medical degree then complete residency training and lastly become certified by the board of pathologist (Become a Clinical Pathologist). In college for someone who wants to be a pathologist they must major in a biology, public health,or chemistry type of major as well as earn a 3.5 cumulative gpa if they wish to get into med school. In med school students will figure out where they want to be in the medical school by choosing certain electives. After completing 4-5 years of med school a student will then begin their residency program wherever they see fit. In residency the student is training in the specific field they want to be in. for a pathologist residency last about 4 years.
