The week before our exam, my teacher handed us our thirteen page, eight units, study guide of everything that was going to be the exam- problems and just general information that we need to know for it. Turns out, I only remembered how to do the things in the last unit we covered. I could not remember how to do anything else. So, I turned to my notebook. I opened the first page. Blank. Turned to the second page. Blank again. Third, blank. Fourth. Blank. Blank, blank, blank! There was not a single number or letter written down on any of the pages. There were plenty of drawings, however. I start to panic. I have an entire five days before my exam. Plus, I have extracurriculars after school all week. I didn’t think that there was a single hour that I could study for the exam.
I took a book home. And relearned how to do a whole eight units. I started by doing what I thought could be right on the packet. That method only got me to six right questions out of almost fifty. Once I saw that that method was not working, I just started reading through the textbook unit by unit to be able to understand and to comprehend what I was doing fully. This actually
