My best friend was non-human. It was a horse that I had built an outstanding bond with. The bond that Dollar and I had, not even a thousand words could describe it. My mom came running in the house shouting my name so loud you could have heard it if you were all the way to Alaska. Soon as I heard the tone that her voice was I know it was about Dollar. That day he was not himself, I felt this vibe running through my body as if he was trying to tell me something. Which I didn’t understand until he fell again. My body was numb. My heart was starting to empty. The whole world around seemed to stop. Drew and my family were there for me when I need a shoulder to lean on. Just as it seem that my life was going to be over. Drew had brought me flowers and a card that read “I will always be there for you.” My dad was also there for me too and every other member of my family. The lesson that I ended up learning was what friendship was all about. How what gaining someone trust is all about. What it really means to say that your pet/animal can be more than just a pet they can be your best
