The air was gunky. Every breath felt as if I had just inhaled two packs of cigarettes. There was noise all around me, people growing impatient from the long hours of waiting. Finally, my name was called out. As I walked down the long corridor towards the double doors I had an uneasy feeling about the verdict.…
Scott - She’s just headed home we will meet here there. [The two of them turned around and went back to the house where Laura was working in the garden] Sam - [tearing up] P-Pepper jumped out of the window and -- and ran away. Laura - I’m sure she’ll be headed home very soon.…

“Timothy Wells is guilty of first degree assault Judge Smith.” The jury says confidently. “Yes, he will be imprisoned” Judge Smith replies nodding his head. WAIT… What just happened?…
I’m confused. I don’t know what to think or how I should feel. All my life white folks have always convicted black folks for doing something that wasn’t bad at all. I have thought this and thought that. I can’t make up my mind and can’t get my head on straight.…

I managed to reach a point where I began making false promises to myself and others about addressing my situation. Among those empty promises was the one where I claimed I would give up drinking, attend rehab and try to get my life back on track. I even fiddled with the thought of seeking inpatient assistance if things weren't working as planned. Let's be clear and fair.…
I would like to believe that I learned my personal ethics from my family more importantly my parents. Growing up my parents thought me many things that had several messages attached to them. Those messages I now use on a daily basis most importantly in my career. One of the ethics that I could remember is to be caring and loyal friend, neighbor, family, or co-worker. Having these two ethicses has guided me to the field of psychology and is still helping me.…
I'm interested in becoming a Wilcox Confessions admin because since I'm already an officer in Key Club, I want to try something that isn't a officer type of thing and being an admin for this page give me the opportunities to do it. I want to learn the different between an admin of a page and an officer in a club. Maybe homework or tests, other than that, I don't have any activities that might impact my ability to post confessions on weeknights. We would prevent it before it got publish into the Facebook page. When we check the confessions, we would leave those out so that it wouldn't upset anyone.…
I had caught an assault charge in middle school, I was in Juvey for a couple days. Then I went home, after getting put on a short probation. About 4 years later, everything started to collapse. I had another assault charge put against me. Someone had spit on me, so I pinned them against a wall by their throat.…
My commitment to mock trial will enrich the UW Lacrosse campus because I can encourage the mock trial team to see other ways of thinking that could help the team when they compete. My adoration for mock trial will motivate me to help the team succeed in any way I can, even if that means I’m not a starting member of the team. Coming from a high school with a rather intense mock trial program that has a four year first place win streak at regional competition I can keep up with teams that are incredibly competitive because my team in high school was also extremely competitive. This can help the mock trial team, especially if the team were to compete against a particularly competitive team.…
“ The Unforgivable Act” Ten o’clock comes and goes, and the only person I have talked to is that policeman. I am standing here in the door of this old hardware store in disbelief that the appointment my friend, Jimmy Wells, and I made has just been broken. Just then,I see a plain clothes man walking toward me. “Is that you, Jimmy?” I asked in an excited tone.…
I’m in the middle of a huge green forest in Illinois with all my tactical gear on me. I have my digital green combat uniform perfect to blend in with the bushy green trees on my back, my old tactical vest carrying six rifle magazines and two extra for my beaten but trusty Beretta m92fs which has never failed me in field before. But the most important thing that I’m carrying with me is my AK74m, a spectacular black russian rifle that has been with me since the beginning of my journey. My squad, the rabbits conformed of only five men, are all ready for some action. We are the fastest of all, and we are always in charge of getting sneaking into the enemy bases, gather intel and report everything we find back to HQ.…
Why Blame is Your Fault When I was in tenth grade, I was cut from my school’s soccer team. It shocked and upset me. The coach spoke to each of us individually so that those who did not make it would not feel embarrassed. The trek to the car was one of the longest 50 meters I have ever walked.…
