A quick thought crossed my mind. Did I have something important to do soon? Oh yeah, the AIME. My math teacher told me I had studied enough for it, so I should just relax and keep my head clear for the next few days. What better way to do that than shoot some hoops for a couple of hours?

Absolutely zeroed in, I don’t even realize that I’m concentrating; I am so absorbed in what I am doing that I cease to be aware of my actions, yet my body is in perfect motion. I can set up my defender with a chess-like mindset without consciously planning out anything--first move pump fake, next move fadeaway--my mind simply knows what to do.
