What would it be like? She thought, would the people there be kind to her family and her or would the look them as aliens. How did she feel? Was she scared, nervous or excited, that should couldn't decide. Was she mad that they were leaving or most of all was she just sad. She looked up and saw her home, she stopped for a minute and soaked in the details of her house. It was a chestnut brown with a slight tint of red, the trim was a bright white that her dad had redone last summer. She had tried to help but only manage to spill the contents of her paint tray all over herself and the drive way. She walked up the stairs to the patio and opened the front door, immediately she was surrounded by the smell of her favorite meal, tater tot hotdish. The smell filled the room and made her mouth water. She had not realized how hungry she was. Her mom's familiar voice called her from the kitchen “Tessa, sweetie come and eat dinner”. The house was filled with family, food, and football. Their favorite team, the Vikings, were playing against the Detroit Lions and they all gathered around the TV and cheered for their team while stuffing their bellies with turkey and mashed potatoes.
