Many people debate whether they should visit Colombia or not because its reputation for producing large amounts of narcotics and giving birth to infamous dealers like Pablo Escobar, Griselda Blanco, and members of the notorious Cali Cartel. However, the truth is that those hardcore criminal empires were powerful in the past but now the country has revamped itself and is a lot safer because of the police and military presence in throughout the country.
