According to Piaget theory the knowledge of development changes during each stage. Piaget suggested that development in children and their perception of the world can be described by assimilation and accommodation. Assimilation is the development in which people understand things based on their experiences and stage of cognitive development they are in. Contrary to assimilation, accommodation can mean changes to ways of thinking but by new stimuli or situations. One of the learning theories I find very important is the social cognitive learning theory. The social cognitive learning theory can be recognized by children imitating adult’s behaviors.
