That still is impressive because that is almost 8 times longer than the pig itself! I also cut what we thought was it`s penis to find a bright blue and red cord in there that were very stretchy.
Digestion is not only in the stomach below, it starts when it enters your mouth. Chewing and saliva work to break down food before it gets to your stomach. In our pig we identified the soft and hard palate on the roof of the mouth of the pig. The soft palate was behind the hard.
We did not pay attention to much of the bones and muscles in the pig but we know from or chicken lab that muscles only contract and without bone they would not have any structure. Bone holds muscle in place on top of keeping our entire body structured. Bones also have the purpose of protecting our internal organs in our thoracic cavity. The ribs make a cage to protect the most important organs we need.
