To be successful of doing pop quizzes each week, each department need to sit, talk and create the specific quiz for each class offered at the school. The administration needs to create a schedule for each class on when the pop quiz will be offered to students. And finally, each teacher need to evaluate the quiz, grade them and make a report for the department and for the administration.
Other recommendation that I suggest is to have the same environment for pre-test and post-test. In our district and school, we have to offer pre-test at the beginning of each block and the final (post-test) at the end of each block. This is to see the growth in our students. But the environment and time for during the pre-test is not the same as the environment and time on the post-test. The pre-test needs to be offered during class period sometime during the first two weeks of class. Carey (2014) describe a study of a Steven M. Smith, which found that the students who took a test with the same environment as they study got better
