Out of the three factors, education might be the most important, but the least noticed. Education is a very important thing in a child’s life, but can be taken away because of poverty. “The role of neighborhood, family/home and school mediates on academic achievement” (D’Aoust 10). The issues of not having money can put a burden on the whole entire family, but especially a child. When a child is living in a home full of issues and their parent are absent, that child tends to act out (2). “Individuals who grow up in poor neighborhoods are most likely to engage in violent and non-violent juvenile delinquency” (Nikulina, Widom and Czaja 2). When children grow up without any money, they cannot do things to occupy their time and that leads to getting in trouble. They cannot do activities that children usually do like. Getting in trouble can lead to children going to jail or death. The result of children getting into trouble at a young age can affect their adulthood in a negative way.
