Professional Ethics differs from that of an individual’s moral beliefs in the sense that it is the use of moral beliefs in a social construct. Morals are the core of a person’s belief system and when a professional who possesses advanced knowledge applies his or her moral values combined with the client’s best interest, this is considered to be Professional Ethics. It essentially is a social contract of trust that binds them to a certain set of responsibilities and accountabilities.
