The repentance in this passage is to shown God’s favour for those who repent earnestly, both who wicked and righteous. The two examples were used in this passage regarding the repentance. The first example was the righteous and second was the wicked. At the end, the salvation is according to their work which is just and right. The judgment will be done according to the person’s own way (Eze33:20). The judgment will fall on the righteous if they start to do evil and forsake God (Eze33:13). The salvation will be for the wicked if they repent from their evil ways and does what is right (Eze33:15). Therefore, repentance is the key of Israelites faith to God when they were in exile.
