There has been an ongoing debate over the issue of new technological innovations overtaking many art forms to make them obsolete when the art still has worth in modern society. Music has not been immune this confrontation. An issue that many producers have faced resulted from the introduction of synthesizers into music production and playback. This new innovation has many positive, as well as negative, aspects brings to the music industry.
