SUBJECT: Righteous vs Ungodly Living

Purpose: The acceptance of God’s word is profitable to those that believe in His God sent. (Jn. 6:29, EVS)
THREE POINTS:
POINT 1: The righteous obeys God’s commands (Ps.1:1, EVS)
POINT 2: The righteous knows God’s word (Ps. 1:2-3, EVS)
POINT 3: The righteous serves God faithfully (Ps.4-6 EVS)
Life appears to have a lot of choices, but in reality there is really only two. We can obey and win or disobey and lose. God’s words are written instructions to our everyday living. It is written to provide direction and caution to the choice we make concerning God and others. Ps. 1:4-6 writes, “The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.” Often times, people fail to see the sovereignty of God. Their lives commence of worldly treasure and pleasure that brings about great danger in their fulfillment in life. Sadly, these treasure and pleasure will cost them the seat of judgement in the eternal heaven. In other word, heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. John 14:1-3 states, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you. And If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. Rom. 6:23, “For wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. John 10:10 “the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and destroy, but I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 2 Cor. 7:1 “Therefore, having these promises beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 3 John 2-4, “Beloved, I prayed that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth, I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” Rom. 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Roman 5:8, “For when we were still without strength in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” God has
