After thirteen weeks of recording the red-eyed Sprague Dawley rats walking across an elevated horizontal ladder, a circular ladder and a treadmill, I am now tasked with spending my days evaluating the quality of their walking ability.
The video begins at an angle below the ladder and the rat appears in the frame. It is roaming around, familiarizing itself with its environment and probably searching for its cage mate. As it moves around the unfamiliar home cage, it recognizes the ladder that led to its cage mate the day before.
