I got this idea today when I saw my friend for lunch. And she mentioned to me she was in a car accident Monday. Mind you today is Wednesday when I found out. And I was in shock and I was asked if she was okay and usual items you ask someone. And I asked her why she didn’t tell me sooner, and she said she felt it wasn’t text worthy. She said it was more personal than simply texting me saying “hey I got into a car accident today”. And I said you could have called me, and that didn’t seem to dawn on her. This made me realize how little people call each other nowadays and no one sits on the phone the same way as people used too. …show more content…
So my only way of talking to people was calling them. I had a list of numbers and I would call them after school and we would talk for hours. When I think about it, they were very happy memories. Then when I got a cell phone, I would rarely text. I would get an address for somewhere and make plans quick, but never to have full length conversations. I would still call my friends all the time. Some of them thought it was weird because they would always text. And when I would call some they didn’t know how to talk on the phone. Yet when they would text me they can tell me everything with great detail.
