One of the hardest parts of transitioning into college life is finding and making new relationships. This was not difficult for me due to my early admittance to the school because of marching band however, I do know that this is a struggle many students face when they take this big step in life. These relationships are crucial to the success of a student academically and socially. Friendships formed at this time help students find people to help cushion the blow of stress and schoolwork while at college away from the parents who are usually there to comfort and support these students during the transition into college life.

With each passing day comes new challenges and hurtles that we all as students must face. Without strong relationships with people and God the pressure of college and life will eventually break a student down emotionally and in worse case physically. This is why it is so crucial to have these strong relationships. By having strong relationships with other people, a student now has someone with them to share the burden of school life. When the burden is so great that no one can help a relationship with God brings comfort and calm to the storms that rage in the mind of a new college
