The starting pay for this position ranges from $51,212.00- $55,870.00.The maximum pay ranges from $67,871.00-$56,260.00. This is based on how much experience, training and the location in which you work. You can work at a hospital, physician clinic or even a specialty clinic. The expenses for this job would be college career, job attire such as a good pair or non-porose shoes and scrubs, and continuing education to keep myself up to date with the updated information. I will also be required to have CPR certification, mandatory reporting, and HIPPA training when working in a clinic or hospital setting. The only con about working in this field would be if someone had an illness that is contagious and I catch it, the other downside would be if I worked close with and elderly person and they end up passing away. I have a big heart and feel that would be the biggest downfall of this career. The biggest decision of my life after finding myself with a degree is to find out where my career will take me. There is a twelve percent outlook for this position. The big things that I have to take into consideration when I go to find my position are the economy, city size and job retention.
